For example, in the mining, quarrying, material handling and construction industries, there are many heavy-duty applications that require dampers that can withstand very high compression forces with minimal deformation.

For these applications, Ulinco has vibration dampers of sandwich construction. An example is the type SAW Mount and these vibration dampers are available for static and shock loads from 2 250 kg to 30 000 kg.

An optimal combination of low height, high vertical stiffness and low shear

Mobile and stationary crushing plants, screening and feeding stations, conveyors, sorting equipment in mines and bulk handling systems in harbours are some examples of applications where dampers of the type SAW Mount is an ideal solution. An important advantage is the optimal combination of low height, high vertical stiffness and low shear.

The construction consists of a cylindrical moulded rubber section (High Dynamic Rubber Compound) surrounded by two square outer metal fixing plates. It is also possible to mount two SAW elements on top of each other for applications where very high demands are placed on insulation efficiency in both the shear and compression planes.
