3D Action 2.0

We have participated in the project 3D Action 2.0 - a RISE-related initiative that strengthens expertise in additive manufacturing in Västra Götaland.

Through the project we have developed know-how for 3D printing of moulds for prototypingwhich allows us to quickly iterate designs and optimise components. We work with polyurethane and cast silicone moulding, where Shore hardness can be adapted depending on the application.

We also have the expertise to manufacture elastomer/metal components and to print directly in elastomers with UV-curing resin, which opens up new solutions in functional prototypes and small series.

This investment makes it possible to combine traditional casting technologies with additive manufacturing to achieve shorter lead times, increased design freedom and improved material utilisation.

The project is co-financed by the European Union, Region Västra Götaland (VGR) and RISE via the Additive Manufacturing Application Centre.
