Manufacture by transfer
Transfer manufacturing involves pressing preheated rubber from a chamber into a mould.
However, FPM has some limitations in terms of cold resistance and the cost may be higher compared to some other elastomers on the market.
Flourescent rubber is mainly used in the automotive industry for seals, gaskets and hoses in engines and transmission applications where high chemical and temperature resistance are critical.
It is also used in the aerospace industry, as well as in industries where resistance to aggressive chemicals and extremely variable temperatures is necessary.
This technology is widely used to manufacture seals, O-rings and components with inserts, especially in the automotive, aerospace and electronics industries where detail and quality are crucial.
