Smoother machine installation with CAM machine feet: A project in West Sweden
When installing heavy industrial equipment, precision and stability are crucial factors. We recently assisted a workshop in western Sweden with the installation of a new radial drilling machine, where we implemented customised CAM machine feet to maximise machine performance and longevity.
Efficient levelling with Z-joint adjustment
One of the biggest challenges when installing radial drilling machines is achieving precise wave placement. By using four CAM machine feet, this process was greatly simplified. Thanks to the agility of the feet Z-joint adjustability the installation team was able to perform precision levelling in a short time, without the need for traditional shimming or other time-consuming methods.
Vibration damping for uneven industrial floors
Industrial floors are rarely perfectly flat, which can create stresses in the machine stand. CAM machine feet are equipped with a high-quality rubber that fulfils two critical functions:
- Adaptability: The rubber moulds to the unevenness of the floor, providing a stable contact surface and ensuring that the machine stands firmly.
- Vibration isolation: By effectively absorbing vibrations from the drilling process, mechanical wear on the machine is reduced. This leads to less downtime and a significantly longer technical lifetime.
