ACM - Acrylic rubber

Acrylic rubber (ACM) is a synthetic elastomer characterised by its excellent thermal stability and resistance to oils and chemicals. The material is particularly recognised for its ability to retain elastic properties at high temperatures and in the presence of oils that would normally degrade other elastomers.

However, ACM has some limitations in terms of low-temperature flexibility and resistance to ozone and UV radiation, which may limit its use in certain environments.

Acrylic rubber is mainly used in the automotive industry for seals and gaskets in engines and transmission applications where high temperature resistance and chemical resistance are essential. It is also used in industrial applications for seals and hoses where similar properties are required.
