BILZ - Wedge blocks and wedge shoes
Bilz Wedge Blocks and Wedge Shoes offer a reliable solution for precise height adjustment and effective vibration damping during machine installation. The self-locking wedge mechanism combines stability with micrometre precision, making them the obvious choice for industrial users and machine manufacturers with high demands on flatness, insulation and durability.

- Integrated vibration damping: Built-in isolation pads (e.g. B4, B32, B5) dampen both vibrations and structure-borne noise - optimised around 80-90 % of maximum load.
- Large contact area: Provides stable machine footing and high rigidity of the machine bed.
- No floor mounting required (for some models): Stand-alone option without the need for foundations or extra tools .
Standard series PK
Robust and flexible enough for all installation needs - choose stand-alone, bolt-on or bolt-through floor.
- Ideal for: Machines without mounting holes, or requiring retrofitting in existing installations.
- Adjustment: ±1-15 mm, depending on model and choice of anti-slip/insulation pads.
Temperature resistance: -20 °C to +80 °C.
AL series in hard anodised aluminium
Upgraded for EMC requirements, cleanrooms and food industry.
- Ideal for: Applications in food, chemical, pharmaceutical and where EMC compatibility is required.
- Material properties: Hard anodised aluminium up to 600 HV - high durability and wear resistance.
- Models:
- PKA-AL: Bolt-on machine, remaining when lifting.
- PKD-AL: Bolt-through floor, tinted for foundation.
- PKAK-AL / PKDK-AL: With spherical attachment for compensation of angular differences.
- Temperature range: -20 °C to +80 °C.
- Cleanroom adapted: Cleanroom compatible lubricant can be provided.
VA series in stainless steel
Ideal for environments with high demands on hygiene, chemical stability and outdoor use.
- Ideal for: Machines in the food, chemical and packaging industries, and where high chemical resistance is required.
- PKD-VA: Bolt-through floor and possibility of floor anchor in case of unstable machine construction.
- Adjustment: Easy adjustment, withstands load and vibration - compatible with Bilz insulation pads.
- Temperature up to ±200 °C: Customisable depending on the type of installation.
